Motor control centre (MCC) manufacturing
DOL, star-delta, soft start and drive-fed motor control centres, built to your design and BS EN 61439-2, tested before dispatch and delivered ready to install.
Motor control centres (MCCs)
MCCs laid out for safe access and easy maintenance.
A motor control centre has to work hard for twenty years and be safe to maintain while the rest of the plant keeps running. We build MCCs to your drawings with that in mind: clear segregation, sensible cable access, consistent labelling and every circuit tested before it leaves our workshop.
We build single-section MCCs for individual machines through to multi-bay assemblies for conveyor, process and building services projects, with incoming isolation, distribution and as many motor starters as the job needs.
Your MCC is built to the form of internal separation your design specifies, using the enclosure manufacturer’s design-verified systems.
What we build
What’s covered.
Large or small, one-off or regular, built to your drawings or to a design we complete for you.
Direct-on-line starters
Contactor and overload starters for fixed-speed motors, with local and remote control as specified.
Star-delta and soft starters
Reduced-voltage starting for larger motors, wired and tested to your schematics.
Drive-fed motor circuits
Variable speed drives within the MCC, with the cooling and EMC practice they need.
Incoming and distribution
Main incoming isolation, busbar distribution and outgoing feeder circuits.
Networked motor management
Intelligent motor protection relays and fieldbus or Ethernet networking where your design calls for it.
Multi-bay assemblies
Larger MCCs built as shipping sections, ready to join and connect on site.

FAQs
Common questions about our panel building.
If your question isn’t here, give us a call or send a quick message and we’ll come straight back to you.
What forms of internal separation can you build?
We build to the form of separation your design specifies, using the enclosure manufacturer’s design-verified systems. Tell us the form you need when you send your drawings and we will confirm the arrangement in our quote.
Can you build large multi-bay MCCs?
Yes. Larger MCCs are built as shipping sections so they can be moved and installed safely, and we arrange delivery to site for you.
Do you test every starter?
Yes. Every MCC goes through routine verification to BS EN 61439, including insulation resistance and protective circuit continuity, plus functional checks of each starter against the drawings.
