Who we are

This website is run by Pro Panel Build Ltd (“Pro Panel Build”, “we”, “us”), a control and power panel manufacturer based at Unit 1E, Cornwood Farm, Napton Road, Stockton, Warwickshire CV47 8HU. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at quotes@propanelbuild.com or on 01926 919876.

What information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us, or that is needed to run the website. This includes:

  • Enquiry details: your name, company, email address, phone number and anything you write in our quote and contact forms.
  • Files you upload: drawings, bills of materials and other documents you send us for a quote. These may include names or contact details of people involved in your project.
  • Emails and calls: what you tell us when you email or phone us.
  • Job applications: your CV and the details you include if you apply to work with us.
  • Technical information: our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type so the website can be delivered securely.

How we use your information

  • To review your drawings and prepare quotes, and to reply to your enquiries.
  • To deliver work you order from us, including design, build, testing and delivery.
  • To keep business and financial records we are required to keep by law.
  • To consider job applications.
  • To keep the website secure and working properly.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing to you unless you have asked us to keep in touch.

Our legal basis

Under UK data protection law we rely on: steps before entering a contract and performing a contract when you ask us for a quote or place an order; legitimate interests in replying to enquiries, running our business and keeping the website secure; and legal obligation for records we must keep, such as accounting records.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the website and our email. They process information on our behalf and only as we instruct:

  • Netlify hosts this website and receives the forms and files you submit. Netlify is based in the United States, and transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards under UK data protection law.
  • Proton provides our email. Proton is based in Switzerland, which the UK recognises as providing adequate protection for personal data.
  • Google provides the web fonts used on this site and the map on our location page. When your browser loads these, Google receives your IP address.

We may also share information with our professional advisers, our accountants, or where the law requires it. We never share your drawings or project details with other customers.

Confidentiality of your drawings

Your drawings, pricing and end-customer details are kept to the people who need them to quote and build your job. We are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement if you need one.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and quotes that don’t lead to an order: up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Customer and order records: for 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as required for tax and accounting purposes.
  • Unsuccessful job applications: up to 6 months.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our map provider may set its own cookies when you view the map on our location page, and you can control these through your browser settings.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it or object to how we use it. You can also ask us to transfer it to you or someone else. To make a request, email quotes@propanelbuild.com. We will reply within one month.
